“We came aboard Eda 10 years ago and sailed to Rum Eigg and Skye. We saw Manx shearwater, minke whales and walked on deserted, white sand beaches albeit in coats! The night sky was magical and the weather 4 seasons a day.
We have lovely memories of a fantastic trip and great food. Good to see you’re still out there. Happy sailing. PS would highly recommend.”

“All ropes and sheets hauled by hand, supplemented by block & tackle, and teamwork. The cutter rig provides plenty of scopes for the 8 guests to get involved in sail handling under the expert guidance of mate Caitlin. In light winds, the asymmetric spinnaker ensures that sailing continues long after other traditional boats start their engines - the peace and tranquillity of sailing is maintained, a fair compromise to modernity!
The owner-operators, Mungo and Stella, have extensive and wide-ranging experience together with a genuine interest in looking after their guests. The routine of the each day is tailored to the weather and wind conditions, as well as the needs of the guests. No two days during our recent 6 night trip in Cornwall felt the same. The overnight anchorages were unique and beautiful, and perfect settings for pre-dinner drinks. Each night a sumptuous meal was prepared by Stella in a small galley and enjoyed together with the crew around the saloon table where the highlights of the day were revisited and past experiences shared.
Our trip was done with our 16 yr old grandson, and everything was done to maximise the experience and enjoyment for all of us”

We had sailed wee boats before, many moons ago, but never have we had such a fantastic experience. EDA, Stella and Mungo were all that was promised, magnificent, accomodating, cheerful, hard-working, fun and the food, oh the food was awesome. Of course Scotland is always amazing but for our first sail off the west coast coast it surpassed itself. The weather was great, although at times a bit more wind, giving us a few more tacks would have been good. We sailed to the outer Hebrides, saw dolphins jump around us as well as a whale breach in the Minch in a force seven....ISH, walked on islands covered in wildflowers, sang happy birthday to a shipmate and of course hauled ropes. I could go on forever, our memories are still vivid. Thanks for a sailing experience we will never forget Barbara and Ian ( sailed July 2021)

“Absolutely fantastic experience. Spent 7 days with Mungo and Stella and Caitlin on the Eda, racing in the Falmouth Classics and then cruising the Cornish Coast. Mungo and Stella go way above the normal standards on Charter Yachts. They are genuinely warm, welcoming, lovely, people and clearly take pride in their boat and the care and attention they give to their guests.
Stella’s catering is absolutely fantastic, she cooked phenomenal food all week, from homemade crumpets to lobster, mussels, roast beef, and everything in between. I cannot recommend Eda Frandsen highly enough. ★★★★★”
