Hello Everybody!

We are Mungo & Stella, owners and operators of Eda Frandsen Sailing.

Working and sailing together since 2016 we have sailed to some of the farthest-flung corners of the globe. Whether it’s Mexico, the Marquesas, or the Mediterranean, as nice as those places are, we have come to believe that some of the best sailing grounds in the world truly are right here on our doorsteps. We happily became the custodians of Eda Frandsen in 2020 and have not looked back since. With Mungo’s roots in the West Highlands of Scotland and Stella’s family in Cornwall, there seemed like no better job than taking people sailing and sharing all that these wonderful parts of the world have to offer.

Mungo’s knowledge of wooden boats is encyclopaedic, having grown up in a seafaring family, he has lived and worked on some of the most prestigious classic yachts in the world and will gladly answer any questions you have about the world of sailing, boat maintenance or navigation. If you have questions about your own boat project feel free to drop us a line at hello@eda-frandsen.co.uk

Stella studied illustration and printmaking before deciding to embark upon a career at sea, her love of wild places has led her on voyages across the globe, including a place on an all-women’s research voyage from Brazil to Guyana, exploring the impact of plastic pollution on our bodies and the environment. She also has a vested interest in your health and well-being onboard Eda Frandsen and her love of locally sourced, sustainable produce will see you happily fed throughout your stay.
